“Dycer” 12-10-07
Having arrived in June 2007 with a broken gearbox to my Bukh 10 engine. Was told that they had stopped manufacturing replacement gearboxes in 1979 – so a new engine was called for. Eventually a BETA 13.3 was fitted, very professionally by the yard and is performing well. The yard is very professional, family run it with helpful staff. I stayed at the yard for 4 months (I holiday in Spain for some of that time) and had a very enjoyable stay.

I strongly suggest the Hanse group to copy some of Sopromar’s attitude and workmanship towards both the ship and owners. They really shown what they are doing and always are happy to make the extra-effort!

We very much enjoyed our experience at Sopromar. All the staff are efficient, friendly and competent. The sand blasting and repairing of Mariah’s bottom is a first class Job at a reasonable price. The cleanliness of the yard and bathrooms is exceptional.

Gracias a Dios tuvimos una avería en el motor cerca de Lagos, pudimos conocer un sitio maravilloso y el mejor varadero que hemos visto hasta el momento.
Un 10 por el servicio, rapidez y simpatía.
Hugo nos salvo de nuestro momento desesperado cogiendo incluso su teléfono en día festivos sin perder la amabilidad.
