Many thanks for the knowledge when you installed our new deck during the winter 2010/2011. We are getting compliments from other yachtsman for our beatifull deck and how it will last for many years. Our boat was in the yard for five and a half months. We were pleased with both the facilities and the staff. Everyone here is so helpfull and polite. We did most of our work and the chandlery shop kept us well supplied and we were provided with sawhorses, platforms, etc. Also we lived abord for two months, the yard is very secure and clean. We had our two Volvo Penta d2 -75 engines serviced at Sopromar in Lagos. From our first contact to paying the bill, the whole process was very professional, courteous and friendly. The technicians arrived at the boat exactly in time, prepared the working areas very carefully covering all possible places that can get oil/dirt etc. finished the job a bit earlier than initially predicted and to our surprise the overall bill, which we agreed initially, had been reduced noticeably due to a less-than-projected man hours. We have been extremely impressed by the management and the technical team and highly recommend them for any service or repairs. Thank you.

Excellent accueil et relation avec Pedro Pedras, tout au long de l’hivernage ! Très l’écoute et rendant compte de l’évolution des travaux avec régularité et précision. Il s’agit de l’un sinon du meilleur chantier dans lequel j’ai laissé mon voilier depuis 2017. Tous les corps de métier intéressant le maintien en condition des bateaux sont présents et professionnels, il y a toujours une solution. Comme le dit l’un des avis précédants, tout cela a un coût qu’il convient d’assumer. Excelente acolhimento e relacionamento com Pedro Pedras, durante todo o inverno! Muito atencioso e informando o andamento dos trabalhos com regularidade e precisão.

In 40+ years of boat ownership, this is the best boatyard that I’ve found. There is almost no job that they can’t undertake and everything done for me has been to a high standard. No, they’re not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. In particular, a big thanks to Uriel who has coordinated the work and been a pleasure to deal with and has kept me updated, with photos, throughout.

We stopped here in June 2023 with ARC-Europe, and were immediately impressed with the chandlery and boat yard. After speaking with the manager, Daniel, he took to the time to explain their business and show us around the yard. They have all services available: welding, machine shop, HVAC, outboard service, electronics, fiberglass, painting...everything and everybody on site in bays that open to the boatyard. We chose to haulout there for 4 months and the prices were very reasonable. I had work priced and completed while in the marina, and the level of expertise is at the highest level. I had my AGM's replaced with Victron LiFePO4 batteries, and the installation was immaculate and exceeded my expectations. Once I was back aboard the installation team walked me through the tech and have been available to answer my numerous questions since. They have have been able to remotely log on to my system and make minor adjustments. We left on a stormy day and had to return after a faulty autopilot balked, Mr. Salgado facilitated an immediate repair (bad brushes) quickly and efficiently. Daniel Santos (chandlery manager) and Mr. Ricardo Salgado (boat yard service manager extraordinaire) are both knowledgeable, hardworking, thorough, friendly and very patient. The entire boatyard and chandlery workforce take pride in their work. The added bonus is that Lagos is a wonderful town.
